The Playstation 4 and the Xbox One have both been released. It's been a few months now since they have been out, For years before their official releases gamers have argued which would be better. It was impossible for a verdict to be decided upon due to the underlying fact that the consoles were not even released yet. Now that has all changed, Both the Playstation 4 and the Xbox One have been released. They have both been given time (Although the PS4 has been out slightly longer than the Xbox One, but not by much) to sell themselves and now the time to decide which is truly better has finally arrived. After all the hype, all the talk, all the trashtalking between opposing gamers the time to settle the age old question is here. Which console is truly better, The Xbox One or the PS4?
We could talk about the specs. We could talk about how the Playstation 4 completely dominates the Xbox One in terms of its technical capabilities. We could talk about the games, The PS4 has better exclusives than the Xbox One excluding a few great Xbox One exclusives that would make this particular category more competitive had there been more of them. We could talk about user interface, How the PS4's user interface greatly outclasses the Xbox Ones in terms of functionality. But all of those things lack the ability to truly decide which console is better. Those things are important and when coupled with this next factor a winner can truly be decided
So what is this ''next factor''? It's the one we have had to wait for. The reason why no one could truly give the best console crown to either the PS4 or Xbox One before they were officially released. Sales numbers - It's really as simple as that. How can a true console king be crowned unless gamers acknowledge it. The console that sells the most along with it's specs that were outlined above, Is probably the best. The sales numbers are in and they have been in for a few months now. A true winner can be decided now. By a somewhat landslide victory, Not only in terms of sales but also its specs. The Playstation 4 is the best console. It is the greatest console that has ever been created.
The Xbox One is a very good console. Anyone who owns one will know that it packs an incredible array of capabilities that would fit the majority of needs by any gamer. However by the incredible standards of the Playstation 4 it would be much more than a stretch to say that it is better than the PS4.
